Vacation in the country - in the middle of a nature reserve
The natural location of our vacation farm in the idyllic village of Melbecke, a small village that has existed for more than 700 years, is unique. The nature reserve Melbecketal-Rübenkamp begins directly at the wall of our house, and a large part of our area is part of this extraordinary flora and fauna habitat. Here you will find original red beech forests, juniper heath, limestone grassland and many rare animal and plant species.
Winnetou lives next door
Winnetou and its native Americans are our neighbors. Our vacation farm is located in a beautiful side valley very close to the Karl May Festival Elspe. The grounds of the Festival Elspe can be easily reached on foot. A leisurely walk of about a quarter of an hour and you're in the Wild West.
